BBQ and Blues

Fall is my favorite time of year here in Indiana, and one of the best ways to kick off the season in Bloomington is the annual BBQ and Blues festival at McCormick's Creek State Park.  The park is beautiful, full of Indiana woods and wildlife, cliffs and waterfalls.

 

The festival was catered by two of our favorite bbq places in Bloomington: Smokin Jacks Rib Shack and Shortstop.  So we just sat back with some awesome bbq and listened to some of Bloomington's finest blues bands.

 

 

There was a classic car show at the festival too...

So if you're ever in the Bloomington area around the beginning of September, I highly recommend checking out the  BBQ and Blues festival for some good mid-West fun:)
