Fall Colors

The brightest reds, yellows, and oranges I've ever seen are everywhere right now.  Here's our hike around Yellowwood State Forest...

Yellowwood is awesome and a must see if you're in the Bloomington area.  Below are some pictures I took on the IU campus this past week...






These leaves made me feel like I was in the Caribbean or something. Y'all have any idea what this is?

  1. The tree in question is Tree-of-Heaven (Ailanthus altissima) it's an invasive species and really shouldn't be here. Shame on IU for letting it grow.
